In Home Massage Service

If you’re new to massage therapy, you might wonder what an In Home Massage is. Why is it getting popular nowadays? And surely it has its own advantages.

An In Home Massage is a kind of massage in which a massage specialist personally goes to the client’s desired treatment location, instead of the client getting a massage at a clinic. In Home Massage is also known as Mobile Massage, Out Call Massage, Home Service Massage, House Call Massage, or On Site Massage.
Every one of us has a busy schedule these days and our lives have become more and more demanding. Our daily routine has become filled with more responsibilities and today’s society produces a lot of pressure and stress that we have to cope with on a daily basis. As a result we tend to be more prone to health problems and are unable to enjoy the quality of life. In Home Massage is an easier option for most clients, especially if they lead a busy lifestyle. In Home Massage is also highly suitable for clients who are home bound, disabled and terminally ill.

Massage can help us to get rid of our daily dose of stress and the human body, mind and soul can benefit from it in many ways. The real problem you may face is where you can get a treatment that offers you the most benefits and where you feel most comfortable. People usually think that the only place to enjoy this experience is a Massage Clinic. However, it’s a simple fact that not all of us would opt for a clinical massage treatment.

Another of benefits we could get is that we can ? This way we could deepen our relaxing experience even more and get really the most out of our massage experience to promote our happy state of mind, to pamper our soul and reward our body.

Everyone of us is an individual with the genuine needs and desires. Each one of us has different preferences and thus we shouldn’t forget the option of outcall massage service when we are deciding on how and where to enjoy our next therapeutic massage treatment.

Benefits of In Home Massage

The advantages of an In Home Massage for the client are:

1. During an In Home Massage, you are in your own familiar surroundings;

2. During an In Home Massage you can be close to people or situations that may need to be monitored while still getting a great massage;

3. While visiting a new city an In Home Massage session ensures you won’t get lost looking for the Massage Clinic’s location;

4. During an In Home Massage you can receive almost all of the same types of massage and bodywork that are available during a clinical massages session;

5. After your In Home Massage you do not have to leave. You can save a lot of time by getting an In Home Massage as you are not required to travel to the clinic, you can just stay put and let the relaxation sink in;

6. You can arrange a massage to suit your schedule;

7. After your massage treatment, you can have a relaxing bath in the comfort of your own home or hotel room as opposed to dealing with a stressfull travelling experience on your way home during busy traffic or transport conditions.

Deep Tissue Massage Therapy Tips and Techniques

What is Deep Tissue Massage?

Deep Tissue Massage is a massage technique that focuses on the deeper layers of muscle tissue also called connective tissue. It aims to release the persistent patterns of tension in the body (also known as “adhesions”) through slow strokes and deep finger, hand and forearm pressure on the tight areas, either going across or following the fibres of the muscles, fascia and tendons.
Deep Tissue Massage uses many of the same movements and techniques as Swedish Massage, but the pressure will generally be more intense. It helps to break up scar tissue. Deep Tissue Massage usually focuses on more specific areas and may cause some soreness or discomfort during or right after the massage. It shouldn’t hurt, but it’s likely to be a bit more uncomfortable than a classic Swedish Massage. However, if the massage is done correctly you should feel better than ever within a couple of days. You should always feel free to speak up if the pressure is too much for you!

Why get a Deep Tissue Massage?

It feels good and it is beneficial to your health. If you are stressed muscles are tense, they block oxygen and nutrients, leading to possible inflammation that builds up toxins in the muscle tissue. Deep Tissue Massages assist muscle tissue release, get blood and oxygen circulating properly and also “liberates” the knots. Because many toxins are released, it’s important to drink plenty of water after a session to help eliminate these toxins quickly from the body.

What is the purpose of Deep Tissue Massage?

The purpose is to “unstick” the glued fibres of a muscle while releasing the built up tension, eliminate toxins, while relaxing and soothing the muscle itself. It is both remedial and therapeutic.

Precautions

Always let your therapist know if you:

  • Have any skin allergies or conditions;
  • Have problems with your joints;
  • Are, or think you could be, pregnant;
  • Have recently undergone surgery, or are prone to or recovering from injury;
  • Have any other medical condition, or are receiving treatment of any kind;
  • Have a history of respiratory or heart problems.

As this might affect the kind of treatment you can have, or on what areas of your body the therapist can work on. Deep Tissue Massage is also not recommended for people with acute or long-term mental health problems.

As with any massage, it’s a good idea to avoid big meals and alcohol beforehand.

Benefits Hot Stone Massage

Hot Stone Massage is believed to have been used in India and China over 3000 years ago and combines the advantage of hydrotherapy with the use of heat. The heat contained in the stones provides heat to the skin which facilitates the absorption of moisturising oils whilst stimulating and relaxing the bodies muscles to allow the Massage Specialist to work at a deeper level in the body. Hot Stone Massage is also referred to as Hot Rock Massage Therapy.
Indigenous people have used hot stones for centuries and it has become extremely popular throughout the world. In Hawaii, stones were married with the Ka Huna Massage and Lomi Lomi massage.In a Hot Stone Massage, the stones which are normally polished Basalt stones are heated by water in an electric roaster. The heated stones are then placed along meridian or pressure points. Insomnia may be improved through the use of Hot Stone Massage as it puts the mind at ease. The benefits of the treatment are claimed to include the release of muscle tension which promotes deep relaxation. The use of heat to release the muscles permits for a deeper massage in a much less intrusive way, compared to a traditional oil based Deep Tissue Massage treatment. From the Massage Specialists point of view, the use of hot stones reduces stresses and strains on the joints of the fingers, thumbs and hands and makes it possible to provide a deep treatment with significantly less energy.

What Happens During a Hot Stone Massage?

Prior to arrival, your Massage Specialist will ensure that the stones are sanitised. Prior to the treatment, the stones are are heated to the correct temperature. Your Massage Specialist will use traditional Relaxation Swedish Massage whilst holding a hot rock in their hand. When the stone has lost temperature, it will then be replaced with another.

What You May Need To Know About Hot Stone Massage

Our Massage Specialists use stones which differ in size and shape. They are usually polished Basalt. The heat contained in the stones allows muscles to release more rapidly than in a traditional massage, often less intrusiveness than a Deep Tissue Massage treatment. The Massage Specialists technique and touch is very important.

You must tell your Massage Specialist if the stones are too hot or the pressure they are applying is too much for you. If you have inflammation or muscle injury, cold stones are sometimes used.
